# Prepaper

> Prepaper turns a description of your app into onboarding screens for Expo, social carousels and App Store screenshots, drawn in one of 20 styles and exported as files you keep.

Credits are the only unit: a drawing costs credits, and everything else (projects, composing, exporting) is free. Quality tiers are Standard and High.

## MCP

Prepaper is an MCP server (Model Context Protocol, streamable HTTP, tools only) at https://prepaper.dev/api/mcp. Sign-in is OAuth in the browser by default; a machine without a browser sends a personal access token as `Authorization: Bearer`. Every result carries a studio link.

- list_projects: Your projects, newest first. (free)
- get_project: One project: its artwork, its tour document and version, its latest run, the studio link. (free)
- create_project: A new empty project: an onboarding tour, a social carousel or App Store screenshots. (free)

### Drawing

- generate_props: Draws artwork from a brief: a batch of pieces, or one full-bleed background. One run, one job. Pass precheck to see the cost first. (costs credits: 10 credits on Standard)
- get_run: How a run is going, and what it drew once it has finished. (free)
- view_props: Short-lived image links, so the agent can look at the artwork before composing. (free)

### Composing

- get_tour: The tour document: its slides and its version. (free)
- update_tour: Saves the document at a version. A stale version is refused with the current one. (free)
- upload_prop: Adds an image you already have (a logo, an illustration) to the project as a piece. (free)
- upload_screen: Files one of your app's own screenshots for a store screenshots project. (free)

### Shipping and account

- export_tour: The drop-in Expo component, a SwiftUI rendering, a handoff prompt, or the images and caption for a post. (free)
- get_credits: Your balance and a page of the ledger. (free)

## Pricing

- A drawing costs 10 credits on Standard.
- 20 free credits when you sign up with an established GitHub account, no card.
- Starter: 100 credits a month for $19. One app, with room to redraw anything you are not happy with.
- Studio: 300 credits a month for $49. An app you keep shipping, or two or three of them, with every screen drawn in one style.
- Max: 750 credits a month for $99. The best rate per credit, for a team or a studio drawing tours all month.
- Top-up: 100 credits for $20, one-off, yours to keep, never expire.
- Top-up: 250 credits for $50, one-off, yours to keep, never expire.
- Top-up: 500 credits for $100, one-off, yours to keep, never expire.
